Permanent tattoos for Agniveer and Indian Army recruitment

1) Only allowed on the inner face of the forearms (from inside the elbow to the wrist) and the reverse/back side of the palm

2) Permitted Body Areas

Inner Forearm: From the inside of the elbow to the wrist on both hands.

Back of Palm: The reverse side or back of both hands.

Tattoos on any other part of the body (like the neck, face, chest, or outer arms) will lead to rejection during the medical examination

3) Exceptions for Tribal Communities

Candidates belonging to notified tribal communities (as per the Government of India's Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes orders) are permitted permanent tattoos on any part of the body

4) General Rules on Content

Tattoos containing vulgar, lewd, racist, sexist, extremist, or offensive comments/figures are strictly prohibited for all candidates.
